Thank You
Thank You, Index Page · Tulsa Hospitality House. It was a shock for us to find out that my husband Ed needed a valve replacement. We thought he was in perfect health. Having been married for 50 years my first thought was the fear of losing him. I wanted to be close to the hospital while he there. I didn't want to drive back and forth from Bartlesville by myself.
I did not know anything about the Hospitality House of Tulsa and its close proximity to the hospital.
God blesses and blesses again! First of all I was told about this wonderful place but there were no rooms available. However, on Monday morning before my husband's surgery a staff member from the Hospitality House called and said that they had a room available. The second blessing was that the surgery was supposed to be a 4 hour surgery but it went so well that it was over in 2 hours. His heart was beating normally on its own.
The third blessing was being able to come "home" to this wonderful apartment after such a difficult day to get rest and find a yummy dinner waiting for me. There was also a note telling me that we were being remembered in prayer by the volunteers and staff members. What wonderful caring people God has placed here for us who are weary in body and spirit. May God bless The Hospitality House, the staff, volunteers and all those who pass through the doors in need of comfort.
Love to you all,
Brenda Tucker
